Erasmus+ Program: Unforgettable and Educational Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n Eight students from the undergraduate and graduate programs of Effectus University – Lucija Hadrovi\u0107, Vinka Letica, Laura Vu\u010dkovi\u0107, Valerija Vinkovi\u0107, Ana Kosti\u0107, Dejana Uremovi\u0107, Dorotea Rudar, and Tonka Vrdoljak<\/strong> participated in the Erasmus+ program, spring school “Contemporary Challenges of Management in Business Environment<\/strong>,” held at the partner institution – Klaip\u0117da State College, Klaipeda in Lithuania, from April 29 to May 3. We talked to them upon their return, and here’s what they told us.<\/p>\n Daily lectures, teamwork, numerous workshops, and games were complemented by various excursions. “We visited the Light House, Baltic Tech Park, and had the opportunity to meet Start-up companies and listen to interesting and educational presentations. We also visited the Fabrique Work and Climb Center to develop team spirit and enjoy sports activities,” we learned from Valerija Vinkovi\u0107, a second-year MBA graduate student. She added that participating in the program brought her a lot of knowledge about the importance of teamwork in professional life, as well as about the advantages of sustainable business in the workplace and forms and functions of communication. “I would definitely repeat the Erasmus+ program in another country, and I hope to have at least one more opportunity for a new experience,” Valerija added, noting that, in addition to experiencing cultures and enjoying the gastronomy of each country, one gains a wealth of knowledge, develops skills, expands networks, and gains life experience.<\/p>\n Dejana Uremovi\u0107, a third-year undergraduate student of Finance and Business Law, fully agreed with Valerija, adding that this Erasmus experience brought her a lot – learning new things and meeting wonderful people from different countries worldwide. “I was more than positively surprised by how many beautiful places we actually visited and that we managed to find all that in Lithuania, and I hope that in the future, we will have more opportunities like this,” Dejana told us.<\/p>\n “One of the most memorable moments for me was the trip to the “Curonian Spit,” a UNESCO World Heritage site,” shared her experience with us Vinka Letica, a first-year MBA graduate student. “That day we didn’t have lectures, which allowed us to fully enjoy the nature and the secrets that Klaip\u0117da holds, from the sandy coast of the Baltic Sea and sand dunes to visiting the fishing village of Nida,” said Vinka Letica, adding that participating in the Erasmus+ program was a positive experience she would gladly repeat. “It enriched me with knowledge useful for the future, but also with new acquaintances with students from various parts of Europe.
