Pierre Matek, CFA, CIPM, lecturer at EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences, participated in the Erasmus+ teaching mobility program, during which he delivered a series of guest lectures at the partner institution Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio (UAX) in Spain from October 20 to 24, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At UAX, he presented two contemporary topics in the field of finance to the students: \u201cFinancial Regulation\u201d<\/em> and \u201cPrivate Equity & Venture Capital\u201d<\/em>. During the lectures, Matek combined theoretical knowledge with practical experience, encouraging students to reflect on the role of regulation in financial system stability as well as the challenges and opportunities presented by venture capital investments.<\/p>\n

As an experienced professional in asset management, financial regulation, and consulting, Matek introduced students to current trends in financial markets and emphasized the importance of professional ethics, international certifications (CFA, CIPM), and continuous professional development.<\/p>\n

This activity further highlights EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences\u2019 commitment to international collaboration and knowledge exchange through the Erasmus+ program, which enables faculty and students to broaden their professional and academic perspectives within the European educational area.<\/p>\n

We sincerely thank Mr. Matek for the successful implementation of the mobility program and the partner university UAX for their hospitality and support.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
