He was born on September 30, 1971, in Split. He graduated in 1996 from the Faculty of Economics, University of Split. He obtained a Master’s degree in Science in 2002, and completed his PhD in 2012 in the field of finance. He holds the CFA certification, which is considered the gold standard for financial practitioners according to Financial Times and Bloomberg Businessweek. He is a member of the CFA Institute in the USA. He has over 15 years of professional experience in the finance sector, having worked in various advisory and financial institutions. He has passed the exam for certified investment advisor and licensed broker.
He is a court expert in finance and accounting. He has actively participated in the working bodies of HANFA as one of the representatives of investment firms during the implementation of the new Capital Market Law aligned with the EU MiFID directive. He has participated in numerous domestic and international conferences and events. He is the author of several notable papers in the field of finance.
He is the editor of the Croatian translation of the book Fundamentals of Financial Management (2014 edition), authored by Van Horne and Wachowicz. This book serves as a textbook standard for the course Business Finance at many higher education institutions.
