Tajana Toš, Ph.D.

Teaching Assistant

 

Tajana Toš was born on May 25, 1983, in Bjelovar. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb in 2005 with a university degree in social sciences, field of economics, Business Economics study program, specializing in Trade. In 2009, she earned a master’s degree in Business Economics, specializing in Quality Management, and in 2021, she obtained a PhD by completing the postgraduate university (doctoral) program in Economics and Business Economics.

She gained her first nine years of work experience in the private sector, specifically in the construction industry, both high-rise and civil engineering, primarily in finance-related roles. She then took a position as an assistant at Baltazar Polytechnic in Zaprešić. In 2014, she was appointed as a Lecturer, and in 2018, she was promoted to Senior Lecturer.

After nine years in academia, in 2020, she joined the State Electoral Commission of the Republic of Croatia as a Senior Expert Advisor – Commission Advisor, where she remained until 2023. She is currently employed at a company in Slovenia, of which she is also the owner, and serves as an external associate at Effectus College in Zagreb.
