Presentation of Research Results on “AI, Mental Health, and Gen Z”

The CEO of EFFECTUS College, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Robert Kopal, Asst. Prof. Dr. Krešimir Žnidar, and Darija Korkut will present the results of the research titled “AI, Mental Health, and Gen Z” on April 1st at the Journalists’ House in the format of a dynamic panel discussion. The research was conducted from December 2024 to March 2025, with a sample size of over 1000 individuals from Generation Z.

The research is sponsored by Algebra University, Bernays University, and EFFECTUS College, all of which are the academic institutions where the researchers also serve as lecturers. The research support in terms of data processing and analysis was provided by Prizma CPI.

The goal of the research was to gain scientifically grounded insights into the relationship between technology and mental health in the context of Generation Z. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods were used. Topics explored in the study included awareness, perception, and usage levels of artificial intelligence, how Generation Z perceives itself, self-assessment of life quality and mental health, as well as the interrelationship between mental health and artificial intelligence.
