Ceremonial Promotion of the 12th Generation of Participants in the “Supervision and Corporate Governance” Program: Knowledge Creates Leadership. Responsibility Shapes It.
On May 14th, the educational and professional development journey of 21 participants from the 12th generation of the EFFECTUS University College Lifelong Learning Program – Supervision and Corporate Governance – concluded with a formal Certificate Award Ceremony.
Certificates and diplomas were presented during the ceremony by the Program Director, Mr. Miljenko Javorović, MSc, and Professor Đuro Horvat, PhD, Director of EFFECTUS Business School. They congratulated the participants on their excellence, motivation, and dedication, emphasizing the importance of continuous professional development in today’s dynamic business environment. They reiterated the core message of this lifelong learning program: “Corporate governance begins with understanding and ends with responsibility – it is precisely this knowledge that makes the difference.”
Throughout approximately one hundred hours of instruction, participants gained practical insights into types of business entities, share capital, shares and ownership stakes, as well as corporate bodies, their authorities and responsibilities, and models of remuneration for management and supervisory board members. They also covered key topics in economic and financial operations, reporting, control and auditing, positioning on financial and capital markets, company valuation, and risk management.
The EFFECTUS Lifelong Learning Program was designed to provide members of management and supervisory boards, company stakeholders, as well as directors and members of governing councils in institutions, with applied knowledge on the legal framework of corporate governance, the economic and financial context of management, and corporate security.
We thank all participants for their trust and wish them great success in their future professional endeavors.
