The 12th Generation of Participants in the “Supervision and Corporate Governance” Program Begins Classes
The 12th generation of participants in the EFFECTUS College lifelong learning program, Supervision and Corporate Governance, embarked on their three-month educational journey in mid-March. Through this program, they will acquire and deepen their knowledge of the legal framework of corporate governance, its economic and financial aspects, and corporate security.
According to program directors Miljenko Javorović, M.Sc. and Academician Jakša Barbić, the goal of the program is to provide board members, supervisory board members of companies, as well as directors and supervisory board members of institutions, with essential knowledge about different types of companies, share capital, stocks, and business shares.
Assoc. Prof. Đuro Horvat, Ph.D., Head of the EFFECTUS Business School, addressed the participants, emphasizing that over approximately 100 hours of lectures, they will gain insights into corporate bodies and their competencies, as well as responsibilities and remuneration models for board and supervisory board members. “Upon completing the program, which carries 10 ECTS credits, participants will have a solid understanding of financial operations, the tax system, and financial statement auditing,” said the Head of the Business School.
We wish all participants and lecturers success in the challenges ahead!
