Bojan Tomić, Ph.D.

Bojan Tomić is currently the Head of the Finance Department at HEP ODS d.o.o. Elektra Zagreb, where he has been coordinating the department’s activities since 2018. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, he served as the Head of the Business Economics and Accounting Department, and from 2010 to 2017, he led the analytical bookkeeping division within the same company. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for tax procedures, financial reporting, and has worked on the liquidation and bookkeeping of investments and fixed assets.
In addition, since 2011, he has been working as a Senior Lecturer at Effectus College, where he teaches courses in the field of finance, such as FinTech, financial instruments, and risk insurance.
Bojan Tomić holds a postgraduate doctoral degree in business economics from the University of Rijeka (2015-2021), a university specialist degree in finance and banking management from the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer in Osijek (2011-2012), and a specialist professional degree in finance, banking, and insurance management from VPS Libertas (2009-2011).
He has published several papers on the topic of cryptocurrency portfolio optimization and economic indicators, and his works have been recognized in professional journals such as the Proceedings of the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka and Research in International Business and Finance.
