Representatives of the governments of the Member States of the European Union have appointed thirteen new judges of the General Court. Among them is Assoc. Prof. Tanja Pavelin, PhD, lecturer at EFFECTUS University College, for whom this is the first mandate at such a high European judicial position.

The mandate of Assoc. Prof. Pavelin runs from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2031. This appointment represents an exceptional recognition of her professional and academic work, as well as of EFFECTUS University College, which proudly stands out as an academic community where top experts teach — experts recognized even at the highest European level.

This achievement confirms that EFFECTUS University College provides its students and participants with knowledge directly from eminent professionals whose contributions are acknowledged beyond the borders of the Republic of Croatia.
