At the European Faculty of Law, from September 15 to 19, as part of the Autumn School, a Blended Intensive Programme entitled “Housing Issues: Challenges and Solutions” was held. Around one hundred students from different countries took part in the Autumn School, enabling international exchange of knowledge and experiences.

Dr. Jelena Uzelac delivered a lecture on the topic “Climate Change and Housing Legislation – The Impact of Greenery in Urban Ecosystems on Real Estate Prices.”

The aim of her lecture was to demonstrate the connection between climate change and extreme weather events with the attractiveness and prices of real estate as well as the insurance market, while also highlighting the importance of urban greenery and spatial planning.

On this occasion, Dr. Jelena Uzelac emphasized the importance of faculty members participating in international programmes, which confirms the quality of work and provides a scientific and professional contribution to current and socially relevant issues. “We are proud that our faculty actively participates in international projects, which create opportunities for students and professors to gain new knowledge, foster collaboration, and develop innovative solutions,” said Professor Uzelac.
