Lifelong learning is not only an investment in knowledge, but also in personal and professional advancement
In mid-May, EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences became a hub of knowledge, ambition, and professional growth—a place where success is measured not only by diplomas, but also by the practical competencies needed for the future. In a ceremonial yet dynamic atmosphere filled with pride, energy, and optimism, three consecutive days were dedicated to graduation ceremonies for participants of the Lifelong Learning Programmes, who successfully completed an intensive educational journey and took a significant step forward in their careers.
In this inspiring setting, the graduation ceremony for the 14th generation of the Supervisory Boards and Corporate Governance Programme (more about the programme: Supervisory Boards and Corporate Governance) was held. For years, this programme has brought together professionals prepared to assume responsible roles within governance systems. During the ceremony, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of ethics, transparency, and strategic thinking in modern organizations.
“This generation demonstrated an exceptional level of commitment and understanding of the complexities of governance processes. These are precisely the kinds of professionals who make a difference today,” emphasized one of the programme directors, Miljenko Javorović, M.Sc. (Economics), noting that the knowledge acquired through the programme has immediate practical application.

The dynamic exchange of experiences among participants and lecturers further highlighted the value of the programme.
“Today’s business environment requires leaders who understand both technology and people. It is precisely this combination of competencies that we develop through this programme,” stated the programme director, Associate Professor Robert Kopal, Ph.D., congratulating participants on the successful completion of their studies.

The atmosphere was particularly energetic, reflecting the strong connections participants had built and the professional network they developed throughout the programme.
