Knowledge, experience, and readiness to embrace new challenges marked another successful generation of EFFECTUS’s lifelong learning programme.

On 10 September 2026, EFFECTUS University College hosted the official graduation ceremony for the 11th generation of participants in the lifelong learning programme Mini MBA: Healthcare Management. In a festive atmosphere, and with congratulations on their dedication, commitment, and successful completion of the programme, approximately 25 participants marked the conclusion of an important chapter in their professional development.

Certificates of completion were presented to the participants by the programme directors, Prof. Đuro Horvat, PhD, and Dražen Jurković, MSc, MD, who congratulated them on their achievement and highlighted the importance of continuously acquiring new knowledge and competencies for effective and responsible management within the healthcare system.

The Mini MBA: Healthcare Management programme, delivered by EFFECTUS University College in cooperation with the Association of Employers in Croatian Healthcare, was designed in response to the increasingly complex demands of the modern healthcare system. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the programme combines knowledge in management, finance, legal frameworks, human resource management, digitalisation, risk and quality management, and the organisation of healthcare systems.

Throughout the 236-hour programme, participants develop practical knowledge and managerial competencies essential for making sound business decisions, leading people and processes, and managing healthcare organisations responsibly. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants earn 15 ECTS credits, recognising the systematically acquired knowledge and competencies.

The graduation ceremony for the 11th generation was not only an opportunity to mark the successful completion of the programme, but also to bring colleagues together, exchange experiences, and celebrate professional achievements.
