Forty students of EFFECTUS College experienced the magic of Advent in Vienna last weekend through a trip that combined getting to know the city, cultural experiences, and pleasant socializing. The Austrian capital welcomed them in festive attire, with its rich history, impressive architecture, and distinctive Advent atmosphere.

During their stay, the students explored Vienna’s most important landmarks – from the famous Ring Road and the historic city center to the magnificent St. Stephen’s Cathedral, museums, parks, and modern areas along the Danube. A particularly strong impression was left by the multimedia attraction Time Travel Vienna, which presented key moments from Vienna’s rich history in an engaging and entertaining way.

The festive spirit was especially evident in the surroundings of Schönbrunn Palace, where the students enjoyed the Christmas market, leisurely walks, and a relaxed Advent atmosphere. An additional highlight of the trip was a visit to the Seegrotte cave and a boat ride on the underground lake – a unique experience that many will remember fondly.

The students described the trip as a “perfect combination of learning, travel, and socializing,” emphasizing that in a short time they truly experienced the spirit of the city. Advent in Vienna will remain in their memory as a relaxing and inspiring experience, enriched with knowledge, togetherness, and a festive atmosphere.
