After looking through all the University options, we advise you to draw up a list of 3 universities based on your study preferences. We advise doing so because many of students want to study abroad and the places for international students are limited, especially at the time of pandemic, so it’s wise to select at least few universities and to apply to all of them at once.
AUSTRIA
You might be thinking of Austria as a small country but despite its size, Austria has had a very big impact on the world. Beside its geostrategical history and many famous componsers, politicians and psychologists, Austria is home to stunning landscapes and vibrant cities. Austria as well offers some of the best universities in the world with zero tuition fees for EU nationals. So, it is not a surprise that with zero tuition fees and financial support for those coming from further afield, Austria is one of the most desirable spots if an international student is looking for an academic adventure.
Currently, there are more than 600 Universities in Austria and more than 20 Universities in its capital city, Vienna. The interesting fact is that almost 30% of all students are (27.6 percent) are international ones. The capital of Austria is historic Vienna, the former seat of the Holy Roman Empire and a city renowned for its architecture and rich and diverse academic programmes.

BELGIUM
Belgium is a country of northwestern Europe. It is one of the smallest and most densely populated European countries and since its independence in 1830 it offers one of the best study programmes in the world. Many universities are highly internationally recognized and take strong position in the international rankings. Nine universities in Belgium are featured in the QS World University Rankings® 2022, with all (except one) ranked within the global top 500.
Higher education in Belgium is generally categorized into two groups, split two main language communities: the Flemish (a variety of Dutch) community and the French community. Alongside Dutch and French, German is also an official language of the country, though spoken by a far smaller percentage of the population. While French and Dutch are the standard languages of teaching, there are also many international programs taught in English.

CZECH
Czech Republic with its wonderful castles, charming history and little, narrow streets is must-visit place in central Europe. You can visit this small country in the heart of Europe and enjoy it as a tourist but it’s even better to study there! Czechs beautiful, bohemian capital city of Prague is proud of its Charles University which was founded in 1348, making it the oldest University in the Central Europe. Throughout the history, Prague functioned as a royal and imperial capital and its legacy is that in Czechia there are 61 Universities. Beside Prague, Brno is one of the most favorite options for domestic and international students and it is even called: „students city“. Global Rankings rank Universities in Czech Republic among TOP 200. Thanks to the high quality study programs to choose from the Czech Republic has become an increasingly popular student destination. ITALY
Italy is a southern Europe country that can please even the most demanding students and tourists. Italy has Alps, Mediterranean Sea, astonishing history and culture, beautiful art and amazing mild climate throughout the year and delicious organic food and dishes. LATVIA
Latvia is country of northeastern Europe and it lies along the shores of the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Riga. It is bounded by Estonia, Russia, Belarus and Lithuania. Located in the heart of Baltic, Lithuania offers special multicultural experience influenced by complex past.
However all the cities are modern, cosmopolitan and percetly adapted to a student way of life. The largest University in Lithuania and the oldest in the three Baltic states is Vilnius University. Vilnius University is currently ranked 481-490 in the world and 21st in the EECA region. It was founded in 1579 and now has around 20,900 students enrolled, including almost 1,250 international students. The university has more than 150 bilateral agreements with partner institutions and takes part in the Erasmus + exchange program.

LITHUANIA
Lithuania is the largest country among of the three Baltic states, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia. Lithuania was a powerful empire that dominated much of eastern Europe in the 14th–16th centuries and some of its legacy remains nowadays. Today, Lithuania earns high marks for the quality of life. It’s been ranked as a first country for the quality of life in the Central and Eastern Europe and is also very well known for its world-high-class health infrastructure and level of safety.
Lithuanians cities have been compared to Copenhagen and Barcelona but beside its modern vibe of the cities Lithuanias biggest asset is nature. Also, everything mentioned Lithuania offers excellent academic institutions, innovative facilities and more than 350 English-taught study programs for international students. It is very interesting and important fact to know that international students are eligible to apply for Lithuanian state scholarships. At the moment there are 24 colleges and 22 Universities in the Lithuania and the most popular Universities in Lithuania are: Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (which attracts the largest number of international students), then Kaunas University of Technology, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Vilnius University, Mykolas Romeris University and European Humanities University.

SLOVAKIA
Slovakia is a small country located in the heart of Europe and it is a great place „to be“ if you want to travel all over Europe. Slovakia is close to Poland, Hungary and Austria and it can be a great place if you want to travel all over the Europe while studying. When visiting Slovakia you can still feel the historic touch and impact on its modern life so it is a nice place for history lovers.
