On May 6, 2025, Mr. Tomislav Hunjak, Sustainability Manager at the food industry company Vindija d.d., delivered a guest lecture at EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences as part of the course Game Theory and Behavioral Economics, led by Associate Professor Dr. Robert Kopal and Darija Korkut.

The lecture, titled “An Overview of the Challenges in Establishing Climate Security Using Concepts and Principles of Behavioral Economics and Game Theory,” provided students with valuable insight into the complexity of the global fight against climate change through the lens of modern economic theories and decision-making models. Particular emphasis was placed on the behavioral aspects of decision-making and the importance of well-designed interventions in shaping public policies aimed at climate resilience.

The lecture enabled students to connect theoretical knowledge with current real-world challenges, engage in discussion, and ask questions about the role of the business sector in developing sustainable solutions.
