Legal Week at EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences: Students Gain Insight into Legal Practice
The Legal Week project was held at EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences. For the sixth consecutive year, the project has been organized by the student association eSTUDENT through its Legal team. Hosting this project at EFFECTUS confirms the institution’s commitment to supporting student initiatives, professional development projects, and activities that strengthen the connection between the academic community and professional practice.
Legal Week is an educational project primarily intended for law students, but also for all students interested in current legal topics and the functioning of the legal system in practice. Over the course of five days, participants had the opportunity to attend a series of lectures, workshops, and panel discussions dedicated to various areas of law.
Through the project, students were given a valuable opportunity to become acquainted with the practical aspects of the legal profession and to engage directly with legal professionals—attorneys, judges, and legal experts from leading law firms, companies, and corporations. In this way, Legal Week provides students with something that is often missing from formal education: direct contact with legal practice and the real challenges lawyers face in their everyday work.
By participating in the organization and implementation of projects such as this, EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences reaffirms its commitment to promoting excellence, practical education, and the active involvement of students in professional and socially relevant initiatives.
