Imagine developing a business idea from scratch in just three days—with a team you’ve only just met, under tight deadlines, and with the support of mentors who were in your position just yesterday. That’s exactly what the 13th national competition “Business Challenge” offers—a unique experience that brings together creativity, entrepreneurship, and the real business world. The event will take place from March 25 to 27, 2026, at Sljeme, at the Tomislavov Dom hotel.

EFFECTUS University College is participating in this inspiring project, with special value added by the involvement of our students as mentors—eleven of them: Tihana Barlek, Dominik Gojun, Borna Herceg, Timon Pavlić, Neven Šoljan, Kristijan Varivoda, Ela Magdić, Petra Filipčić, Bojana Simić, Luka Novak, and Maria Štefanac.

On March 26, our students will mentor participants in Phase IV of the competition, where high school students already have developed business ideas. Through their mentorship, the EFFECTUS team will help them further develop, refine, and finalize their projects—from elaborating business models to preparing for final presentations.

“Business Challenge” brings together high school students from across Croatia and abroad, offering them a unique experience of teamwork, developing innovative solutions, and simulating a real business environment.

By participating in this project, our students further develop their professional and communication skills, while also actively contributing to the creation of a new generation of young entrepreneurs.
