Two groups of EFFECTUS students – enrolled in the Entrepreneurship program and the Finance and Business Law program -visited the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia on 27 November as part of a field trip that has for many years been organized within the courses Introduction to Law and the Judicial System of the Republic of Croatia and Foundations of Law in Entrepreneurship.

The field trip was organized by Dr. Jelena Uzelac, Dean of EFFECTUS University College, with the aim of familiarizing first-year students with the work of key institutions within the legal system. During the visit, the Secretary-General of the Court, Ms. Sanja Trgovac, delivered a lecture in which she presented the Court’s jurisdiction and role, and explained the procedures for constitutional judicial protection.

This experience provided students with direct insight into the functioning of the rule of law and the practical application of constitutional legal mechanisms. The encounter with such an important institution further motivated them to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the legal system.

The visit concluded with a lively discussion, during which students posed questions and sought clarifications, demonstrating their strong interest in legal topics that will shape their future professional practice.
