Dr. Željka Zavišić, PhD, President of the Management Board of EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences, has been appointed Adjunct Associate Professor in the scientific area of Social Sciences, field of Economics, at the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka.

The decision was made by the National Committee for the Field of Social Sciences – Economics, operating under the National Council for Higher Education, Science and Technological Development, following a formal appointment procedure and the assessment of her fulfilment of the prescribed national university, scientific and artistic criteria and the requirements for appointment to an academic teaching and research position.

This significant academic recognition confirms Dr. Željka Zavišić’s long-standing dedication to higher education, research and professional practice, as well as her continuous contribution to the advancement of education and to bridging academic knowledge with the needs of the modern economy and business practice.
