EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences Participates in the Croatian Employers’ Association Discussion on Future Skills

At the forum “How Can We Develop the Skills the Economy Needs More Quickly?”, held on July 7 and organized by the Croatian Employers’ Association (HUP), participants discussed one of the key challenges facing the Croatian economy: how to make the education system more flexible and effective in developing the skills that the labor market requires today, not only tomorrow. The forum presented models of short professional study programs and other forms of lifelong learning as important responses to employers’ needs for qualified and readily available talent.

Dr. Jelena Uzelac, Dean of EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences, participated in the forum, reaffirming EFFECTUS’s commitment to developing modern educational programs aligned with the needs of the economy and society. A significant contribution to the discussion was also made by Ivan Gadže, President of the EFFECTUS Business and Economic Advisory Council, who attended the forum as a representative of employers. His participation further highlights the importance of strong cooperation between academia and the business sector in designing educational programs that address the real needs of the labor market.
